Who is Arana Sports

Arana Sports is a multi-sport non-profit organisation comprising of eight sporting groups situated on Brisbane's Northside. Sporting clubs within Arana Sports include Arana Ascot Hockey, Arana Little Athletics, Arana Netball, Arana Old Boys Association, Hills PCYC, Waratahs Sporting Club, Westside Sports Club and West Arana Hills Rugby League Football Club.

Arana Sports commitment extends to, but is not limited to; promoting junior sport through healthy and active youth; establishing pathways for youth to gain more competencies and longevity in sport (s); engaging in and strengthening valuable partnerships with the community, local business and service organisations, the education sector, government agencies and the media and integrating sport, recreation, education and the environment.

Arana Sports is providing support to the community through the creation of an active arana model, where local clubs and schools, members of the community and local political representatives can work together to provide a better community for our youth.

West Arana Hills Old Boys Association Inc.

The Old Boys Association is a community and sports based social club with some 250 financial members. They hold regular social events and are proactive in raising funds for the Junior Football Club.
