Current Club Information

COVID-19 Exposure – 30th & 31st December 2021

Unfortunately, we need to inform you of a staff member returning a positive COVID test today. This staff member worked Thursday 30th December from 4.45pm to 8.45pm and New Year’s Eve from 4.45pm to 1.15am, both shifts in our Kick Grill area. They were masked and asymptomatic throughout these shifts. They have been isolating since this time after experiencing some symptoms the next day and learning they were a contact with someone outside of our venue.

We would like to assure you that all staff that were isolated due to previously reported contact at the club have since returned negative test results.

As per the new health regulations that came into effect at midnight on 30th December 2021, we have advised all staff who worked in this area of the club to monitor for symptoms and not attend work if they experience any. We encourage you to do the same.

For more information on the new regulations please visit the following links:

and here https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19/current-status/public-health-directions/confirmed-cases-and-close-contact-isolation/close-contacts

As has been the case throughout this pandemic we will follow the current health advice.

If you have concerns regarding your health at this time, please refer to the Queensland Health Covid website here https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19 or call the Queensland Health Covid information line on 134 COVID (13 42 68).

Our surfaces are sanitised regularly and a thorough venue clean is performed every morning.

As per our current operating requirements, all our customer facing staff have been masked since Wednesday 22nd December and double vaccinated since 17th December. All patrons who are not seated or eating and drinking have also been required to wear a mask since 2 January 2022.

Thank you for your understanding at this challenging time. We will keep you updated as best we can and will continue to monitor the health advice as it comes to hand

COVID-19 Exposure – 27th December 2021

We would like to inform you that we had a staff member test positive to COVID 19 this morning, Thursday 30th December. The staff member worked our reception area on Monday 27th December from 10.00am to 3.00pm and was asymptomatic their entire shift. They have been isolated since then, after learning they may have had contact outside of our venue. All of our surfaces are sanitised regularly and a thorough clean has been performed this morning. We have also isolated some staff members for testing.

If you have concerns regarding your contact at this time, please refer to the Queensland Health Covid website here https://www.qld.gov.au/…/health…/coronavirus-covid-19 or call the Queensland Health Covid information line on 134 COVID (13 42 68).

As per our current operating requirements, all our staff have been masked since Wednesday 22nd December and double vaccinated since 17th December. We encourage the use of masks for patrons whilst moving around our venue and using our many hand sanitising stations.

Unfortunately, due to a number of staff currently isolating we will not be able to run our courtesy bus service or Kids room until further notice. Unfortunately, this will include New Years Eve. We will update you as soon as we can get these services running again.

Thank you for your understanding at this challenging time and we will keep you updated as best we can.

COVID-19 Exposure – 20th & 21st December 2021

Please be advised that two of our valued staff members have recently tested positive for Covid-19. One of these staff members worked in our administration department Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st December. The other worked in our gaming room and bar from 11.00am to 4.30pm on Tuesday 21st December.

If you have concerns regarding your contact at this time please refer to the Queensland Health website here https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19 or call the Queensland Health Covid information line on 134 COVID (13 42 68). At this stage we do not have a classification of this contact from Queensland Health. The staff member in the gaming room was predominantly behind the bar and cashier area on this day. We delayed our opening on Boxing Day as a thorough sanitation of the entire building using Nanocyn Fogging technology, which is a hospital-grade disinfectant & sanitizer, was conducted. All staff considered a contact of our team members have been isolated and will follow Queensland Health’s testing protocols before returning to work.

As per our current operating requirements, all our staff are masked and double vaccinated. We encourage the use of masks for patrons whilst moving around our venue and using our many sanitising stations. We thank you for your support, patience and consideration at this challenging time.

We can’t thank you enough for your understanding and will update you on any further developments as they come to light.
