In applying for membership you are considered a proposed member until the Board of Directors approves your application. As part of your membership you become a participant in this Club’s myStar Rewards program. The terms and conditions of myStar Rewards can be found in the brochure available at Reception and online at aranaleagues.com.au/mystarrewards. Please be aware that if you do not renew your membership before the designated due date, any Star Points that have been accumulated on your membership card will be null and void.
From time to time, Arana Leagues Club (ALC) will communicate with you using information supplied on this membership form and from Member Loyalty Systems. You can opt out of communications at any time by informing the Club in writing.
ALC will only collect personal information that is necessary for it to meet or fulfil its activities and functions. ALC will use the information to provide its facilities and services to you and also plan new services and improve existing ones. ALC will use lawful and fair means, that are not intrusive, to collect personal information. Your information will be utilised by ALC for the purpose of ALC only. ALC will disclose personal information in circumstances when it is required by law, including third parties that provide services under contract to the club. Where lawful, ALC will also disclose personal information for promotional and marketing activities or other secondary purposes. ALC will provide opportunities to patrons and members to access the information held about them by ALC to the extent provided by law and will promptly correct information if advised in writing that the information is not accurate, complete or up-to-date. ALC has procedures in place to facilitate privacy complaints when the member or patron makes first contact with ALC before approaching the Privacy Commissioner.
